Yes any one can practice Sikhi in any Religion. Here are the transformations slowly and slowly we will go through:
Become a great Human being, Respect Humanity, Equality for All, Believe in one God and realize the virtues within such as Truthfulness, true Love for all irrespecive of Religion, Caste, Creed, Color and Gender, bring Kindness, Compassion, Patience, no enmity, no envy, no Jealousy, forgivenesss etc. and control on five vices. Help needy. Gurbani will help us to achieve all the above. Divine Happiness will be on our way
Here is the definition of Religion according to Sikhi
SARB DHARM ME SREASHAT DHARM HAR KO NAAM JAP NIRMAL KARM II
The highest Religion is to adopt virtues and do good deeds.
Any one can adopt Sikh Religion. No one can claim by birth. Every one has to study, understand and start following the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib.

we first have to understand the word Sikh Sikh is a disciple who follows sikhi which is a thought process written in Sri Guru Granth Sahib A person born in any family can become a Sikh by following the documents the thought process written in SGGS
