Bainaural Beats and meditation

In response to your question, ‘can Sikhs listen Binaural beats?’, the undersigned wants to draw your kind attention to Four Pangtis of a Shabad of Fifth Guru Person Guru Arjun Sahib, in Raag Bilawal, which is located at Panna 820 of Guru Granth Sahib.

Guru Sahib is guiding us that dirty songs should not enter one’s ears since the same are useless for a spiritual life. Instead, he is teaching us to sit in the Sadh Sangat and sing Gurbani, so as to get the boon of fearlessness.

Therefore, a person has to take his/her own decision about what songs/music to listen and what not. There, seems to be no bar as such but Guru Sahib has given a broad advice that the Sikhs should be selective.

ਅਰਥ: ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਜੇਹੜੇ ਗੰਦੇ) ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨਾਦਾਂ ਧੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੋਹਨ! ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਬੋਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਕੰਨੀਂ ਨਾਹ ਪੈਣ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
