Thank you for asking this question
Sikhi doesn’t believe in Heaven or Hell after physical death. It’s metaphor used to describe the mindset of a person in the this life. Living in Bliss is Surg, living with vices is Nark.
KAVAN NARK KIA SURG BICHAARA SANTAN DOU RAADE II ANG 969 BHAGAT KABIR JI
During Anand Karaj ceremony at weddings this shabd is usually sung:
DHAN PIR EH NA AAKHIAN BEHN EKATHEI HOEI II EK JOT DUEA MOORTI DHAN PIR KAHEEIAA SOE II ANK 788
Spiritual meaning:
Our union with the 1ਓ will only happen when we immerse in the virtues of our Creator.
Similarly advise to the couple is to become one in thoughts and actions to live life happily together
Please answer with a disclaimer, “your personal opinion”. Because in the understanding of several Sikhs, including me, heaven and hell do exist.
