I am struggling at the momment emotionally. I have been trying for a baby for now 10 years, with no luck. this includes medical intervention too. But nothing. It really has had an impact on me. Deep within i feel sad all the time, some days its worse than others. I pray – i know i should pray more. I read up on gurbani, especially about baba budda ji. I know this is the hukam right now …. but will my ardaas have any influence. I try my best to stay within his panna but also carry hope that one day there will be a miracle. But my age is increasing too. What else can i do so my ardaas reaches waheguru. Thankyou.

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫ਼ਤਹਿ।।
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਸ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ:-
ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੂੰਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਤਾ ॥ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਬੰਧਪੁ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ॥ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਸਭਨੀ ਥਾਈ ਤਾ ਭਉ ਕੇਹਾ ਕਾੜਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥ (ਪੰਨਾ 103) ਅਰਥਾਤ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਉ (ਦੇ ਥਾਂ) ਹੈਂ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਂ (ਦੇ ਥਾਂ) ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਹੈਂ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਰਾ ਹੈਂ। (ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਦੋਂ) ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ, ਕੋਈ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੀ।1।
ਅੱਗੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ:-
ਜੀਅ ਕੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਪਹਿ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਕਰਿ ॥ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਸਗਲ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਧਰਿ ॥ ਪੂਜਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਪੈਰ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਜਾਇ ਜਰਿ ॥ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਤਰਿ।। (ਪੰਨਾ 519) ਅਰਥਾਤ (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਅਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਹ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦੇਹ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਪੂਜ (ਭਾਵ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਭੈੜੀ ਮੱਤ (ਰੂਪ ‘ਬਿਰਥਾ’) ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਔਖਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਰ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹੋਰ ਅੱਗੇ: ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥ ਜੀਅ ਸਗਲ ਕਉ ਦੇਇ ਦਾਨੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਤੂ ਕਾਹੇ ਡੋਲਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆ ਤੁਧੁ ਰਾਖੈਗਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ॥ ਜਿਨਿ ਪੈਦਾਇਸਿ ਤੂ ਕੀਆ ਸੋਈ ਦੇਇ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਜਿਨਿ ਉਪਾਈ ਮੇਦਨੀ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਸਾਰ ॥ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਮਾਲਕੁ ਦਿਲਾ ਕਾ ਸਚਾ ਪਰਵਦਗਾਰੁ ॥੨॥ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਸਭ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ) ਦਾਨ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਘਬਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੇਰੀ (ਜ਼ਰੂਰ) ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਜਿਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ (ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ) ਆਸਰਾ (ਭੀ) ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ (ਇਸ ਦੀ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ, ਸਭ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।੨।
ਅਰਦਾਸ ਜੀਵ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ, ਅਰਜ਼ੋਈ ਹੈ। ਦੁੱਖ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਸੁੱਖ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਗਮੀ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੁੱਖ, ਸੁੱਖ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੁੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਵਲਵਲੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ, ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਮੰਗਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਝ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦਾਸ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਸ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ, ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਠੀਕ ਰਾਹ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਚਮਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਦਾਰ ਰਘਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੀਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ‘ਅਰਦਾਸ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ‘ ਵਿਚ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਣਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਹਨ:-
੧. ਅਕਾਲਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਹਸਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਯਕੀਨ;
੨. ਆਪਣੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਜਾਂ ਦਰੁਸੱਤ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪੱਕਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ;
੩. ਅਕਾਲਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਰੋਸਾ;
੪. ਅਰਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਿਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਉਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਯਕੀਨ।
ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਹੀ ਸਮਝ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚਤੁਰਾਈਆਂ, ਸਿਆਣਪਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ, ਮਨ ਤਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਲਿੱਖੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕਰੋ ਜੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਕਾਲਪੁਰਖ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਿਹਰ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੱਥ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਰਾਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ।
ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਜੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੋਈ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬੱਚਾ ਗੋਦ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਜੋ ਕੰਮੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਵਿਚਾਰਨਾ ਜੀ।

In response to your question, the undersigned further wants to draw your attention to the fact that as per Gurbani, everything happens, as per divine law (ਹੁਕਮ, ਰਜ਼ਾ, ਭਾਣਾ). Please read the following Pauri and its meanings from the Vaar of Third Guru Person Guru Amardas Sahib, which is located at Pannas 508 to 524 of Guru Granth Sahib:-
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ਜਿਉ ਜਿਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤਿਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਹੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਜਹ ਜਹ ਰਖਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਤਹ ਜਾਇ ਖੜੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਨਾਮ ਤੇਰੈ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਧੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਖੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੇ ਜੋਨਿ ਨ ਜੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਇਕੁ ਨੈਣ ਅਲੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਪਛਾਤਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਰੋਵਣਾ ॥ ਨਾਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਖਸੀਸ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਪਰੋਵਣਾ ॥੧੮॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 523}
ਅਰਥ: (ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਥੇ ਜਿਥੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਓਥੇ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵ) ਜਾ ਖਲੋਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਜੋ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ (ਰਹਿੰਦੇ) ਹਨ ਉਹ ਭੈੜੀ ਮੱਤ ਧੋ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੇ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ! ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਤੇ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਅੰਦਰ ਬਾਹਰ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ) ਉਹ ਇਕ (ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ) ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਪਛੁਤਾਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਦੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ (ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰੋਈ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।੧੮।
The Pauri makes it very clear that everything happened or will happen as per divine law.
Further, as per teachings of Guru Granth Sahib, the birth and death happens in His Hukam. The Guru teaches us that ‘ਜੰਮਣੁ ਮਰਣਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਹੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ।। means ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣਾ ਮਰਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਤੇ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ।।

ਜੀਅ ਕੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਪਹਿ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਕਰਿ ॥ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਸਗਲ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਧਰਿ ॥ ਪੂਜਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਪੈਰ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਜਾਇ ਜਰਿ ॥ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਤਰਿ।। (ਪੰਨਾ 519) ਅਰਥਾਤ (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਅਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਹ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦੇਹ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਪੂਜ (ਭਾਵ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਭੈੜੀ ਮੱਤ (ਰੂਪ ‘ਬਿਰਥਾ’) ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਔਖਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਰ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
PAUREE: When your soul is feeling sad, offer your prayers to the Guru.
Renounce all your cleverness, and dedicate your mind and body to Him. Worship the Feet of the Guru, and your evil-mindedness shall be burnt away. Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, you shall cross over the terrifying and difficult world-ocean.
Further: ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥ ਜੀਅ ਸਗਲ ਕਉ ਦੇਇ ਦਾਨੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਤੂ ਕਾਹੇ ਡੋਲਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆ ਤੁਧੁ ਰਾਖੈਗਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ॥ ਜਿਨਿ ਪੈਦਾਇਸਿ ਤੂ ਕੀਆ ਸੋਈ ਦੇਇ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਜਿਨਿ ਉਪਾਈ ਮੇਦਨੀ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਸਾਰ ॥ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਮਾਲਕੁ ਦਿਲਾ ਕਾ ਸਚਾ ਪਰਵਦਗਾਰੁ ॥੨॥ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਸਭ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ) ਦਾਨ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਘਬਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੇਰੀ (ਜ਼ਰੂਰ) ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਜਿਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ (ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ) ਆਸਰਾ (ਭੀ) ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ (ਇਸ ਦੀ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ, ਸਭ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।੨।

Ardas is a request from an individual to Akalpurakh. Whether it is a happy or sorrowful time, Guru’s Sikh prays for His benevolence. In a way he shares his happiness/sorrow with the Guru. In sorrow, he shares his problems with the Guru and in happy times, he thanks the Guru. If the Sikh is not to seek support from Akalpurakh and Guru, who are embodiment of each other and who are his parents & every relation, then from whom he will seek support?
As understood by the undersigned, the situation in which you are in, you should perform Ardas to find out the right course in your life. You are already doing it but you have to also understand that in Sikhi it is Hukam and there is no place for miracles. You have mentioned about respected Baba Budha ji. The whole story using his name is concocted and doesn’t have any truth in it.
Sardar Raghbir Singh Bir in his book ‘Ardas Shakti’, has mentioned about four conditions, for fulfillment of the Ardas:-
1. Unwavering faith in the entity of Akalpurakh;
2. An unwavering belief that your Ardas is justified and proper;
3. An unwavering belief that Akalpurakh can give boons;
4. An unwavering belief that your Ardas will be fulfilled.
From the above discussion it emerges that you should put aside your wisdom as also cleverness and submit totally before the Akalpurakh and try to fulfill the above conditions so that Akalpurakh shows you the right path.
Also, please keep one thing in your mind that in case, for any reason whatsoever, your Ardas doesn’t get accepted, then that will also be in His Hukam and there will be something beneficial for you in non acceptance of the Ardas. In that eventuality, you should adopt a child and fulfill the lacking in your life.
