At times I get really anxious.
what should I do?
I try hard but find it difficult to relax.
Is there something I can recite or read to help me stay calm?

      Very good question!

Listen to Keertan and try to understand the meanings. Read or listen Gurbani. Visit Gurdwara Sahib and try to do sewa. Also do physical exercises. Train your mind to go slow. Slowly and steadily Sahij will come to you with practice

The simple solution is to recite, listen, understand and follow Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib.

jap – 2

u cannot stay calm by merely reciting this is karam kand To be at peace to relax to remove anxiousness we have to understand the Gurbani and implement to bring in transformation We have to understand that anxiety arises from stress Stress arises from fear Fear arises from insecurity Insecurity arises from delusions and delusions arise from EGO So attain the guru knowledge and finish ur ego ur Hoemei Guru says Hoemei Dirag Rog Hai When ego vanishes all the vices vanishes because ego is the father of all vices So please understand the guru’s words practice and transform the inner world So it is clear that by merely reciting u cannot attain peace
