ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਪੁਛਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੰਤ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਕੀ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ?

ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਪੁਛਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੰਤ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਕੀ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ?

      You have already read SUKHMANI SAHIB, best reference about qaulifications of a SANT.
      As per my undersatanding of the Gurbani, only SANT is BANI enshrined in GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI, and none else.
      Remember there were no SANTS at the time of Guru Sahibs. Only titles were Baba or Bhai, no SANT.
      This title of SANT in Sikhi started to be bestowed on Human biengs in twentiwth Century.
      It is question to be asked, who was qualified to bestow a title of SANT on anyone? One had to be more qualified than a SANT to bestow a SANT on someoen else. Think about it.

      ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਇਹਨਾ ਹੁਕਮਾਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਕ ਲੱਖ ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਆਬਾਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋ ਬਾਦ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
