ਰੱਬ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ?

      Respected Kuljinder Singh Ji;

      Thank you for your very good question. I am sure a lot of people in the world that feel the same way.

      I am not able to find direct quote from Gurbani to answer your question.

      However, based on my knowledge of Gurbani, the answer is that You and I do not have the big picture that the Creator has and what does not seem fait to us may actually may be fair in the big picture.

      Hope this makes sense.

      In addition to response from Gulbarg Singh Ji, God is not judgmental. God resides in each and every molecule of the universe including our mind (Mann), When we do good things we feel happy about it and when we harm others in any way (Bribery, jealousy, lobh etc) then we feel guilty in our consciousness which gives us anxiety, sleep problem etc. That’s the punishment we are giving to ourselves.

      God’ teachings are sweet and beneficial for all. God gives equally to everyone without looking at merits and demerits of anyone. God is nearest of the near as God’s abode is in everyone. As God is a philosophy, the teachings in that philosophy is, equal for all. Whoever lives life according to those teachings realizes God within. Nanak seeks God’s friendship and sanctuary forever who is the giver of spiritual life to all.
      As we have seen that God is the wisdom in the word (Bani) of Guru. That means God speaks through Word of wisdom. God’s word of wisdom is sweet to everyone – sinners and non sinners. The wisdom does not differentiate between them. Even if sinners act on the wisdom they can be purified. That is how it is the God’s natural way to purify sinners. They will be in heaven now on the earth.
