Dear Brother/Sister,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
You have asked a question whether Hindus donated their first generation to Sikh Gurus to become Khalsa?
I will like to bring to your kind notice that whosoever chose the path of oneness and universal brotherhood, taught by Guru Nanak Sahib and preached by nine Guru Sahiban, who followed him, became Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh Sahib established the institution of Khalsa in 1699.
Before Guru Gobind Singh Sahib passed away at Nanded in October, 1708, giving Gurgadi to Guru Granth Sahib, he had given responsibility of fighting against the oppression of mighty Mughals, to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, who willingly chose the path of Sikhism/Khalsa.
I don’t know whether you are aware of what Baba Banda Singh Bahadur did to the well entrenched Mughal empire, during short span of his life, till his martyrdom in June, 1716.
After that for 90 years, the Sikhs suffered all kind of atrocities in the hands of Mughals but kept on their fight till Ranjit Singh became Maharaja of Punjab. During this 90 year period, the saddles of the horses were the homes of Sikhs and during this period, young boys of Hindu families, who had self-respect and were not ready to make compromises with Mughal oppression and atrocities, joined Sikh/Khalsa fighters in jungles. Can this be called donation of one generation by Hindu families? Please think about it, We can further continue the discussion, if you so desire.
Regards,
Your Brother

There is no such evidence any where.
Daan does have any acceptance in Gurmat. A Sikh is supposed to contribute for the welfare of Sikhi called Daswand.
By knowing the sacrifices of Sikhs, some of the Hindu families have started to make their children also Sikhs.
